Why not combine horse riding and learning a foreign language?
Horses often become a real passion for young riders (and for the not-so-young riders too!). The aim is here to use the "horse" vector in order to show them another aspect of foreign languages and to get them to like languages almost "unobtrusively". Horses and equestrian sports thus become a mean to learn German, English or French in a different way, most of the time through games and play-scenarios. The positive benefits that children and their parents will be able to derive from this learning method will reach far beyond the mastery of equine and equestrian vocabulary and will lead them to an overall ease in the studied language.
Riding lessons are given with full immersion in German, English or French, i.e. communication between instructor and rider takes place only in the chosen language. The riders find themselves in a full immersion language learning situation and very quickly appreciate the benefits of the "all-in-English", "all-in-German" or "tout-en-français" aspects. Even if this learning method can sometimes put some off at first, it is usually quickly adopted by the learners and soon they only benefit from it.
Groundwork or grooming sessions can also be organized for non-riders or for beginners, who thereby learn a global and gentle approach of the horse, and can also learn, for example, how to work with the horse in hand.
These courses are intended and suitable for everyone: young riders, adult riders, beginners or advanced riders, even for non-riders, etc ...
We offer turnkey services led by certified teachers. Our teachers are certified trainers in equestrian sports, as well as graduated in language teaching and training. We can organize these riding lessons on your structure or in a partner equestrian center nearby.
